The cross follows a classic Latin cross shape with a longer vertical arm intersected by a shorter horizontal Uh, horizontal one.

 Instead of being made from just two or three pieces, it's built from nine separate blocks arranged in a three by three grid pattern, forming A unified cross while leaving the four outer corners empty.

This layout forms a plus-sign shape with a square, but the absence of the corners gives it a bold geometric cross silhouette.
